Technology spoils us once again! True story – I’ve been using the McDonald’s app for quite some time now. When I first found out about their daily deals, I downloaded the app and got my life every single time I saw freebies. My favorite? The free large fries with any purchase deal. Apparently, a local national sports team does a good job whenever they play. I’m thankful for their skills on the court, field, or ice.

I also like using the app because it allows me to place the order in the car and pick it up inside or at curbside (depending on the location). Did you know you can also use the app to purchase “eat in” meals as well as drive-thru meals? Yep! Order in the car and get your meal at a table after you’ve gotten all of the kids out of the car and settled inside OR order in line and simply tell them your order number at the mic in the drive-thru.

I am happy more fast food restaurants are introducing mobile ordering because sometimes I simply don’t have the time. If I’m at a fast food restaurant, I want FAST food. Sometimes, waiting in line can be the difference between getting back to the office on time for that phone call or having enough time to enjoy your lunch on your break. In my corporate life, I am in meetings and on calls all day so if I can save time during lunch, I will.
