I used to travel to Puerto Rico all the time when I lived back at home (St. Croix, USVI). Unfortunately, my island hopping adventures came to a halt when I moved to the mainland. Luckily, about a week ago I had a chance to visit Puerto Rico for a few days and soak up some sun.

Adventure

Casa Bacardi

I visited Casa Bacardi, the rum factory, and tasted some of their finest rums.

Needless to say, I had a blast.

El Yunque Rain Forest

I visited the rain forest and it was beautiful. There were waterfalls off the sides of the roads.

While there, I also checked out the Yokahu Tower.

Then, I 4-wheeled. I’ve never ridden a 4-wheeler before so this was a 1st-time
experience for me.

I really enjoyed my time in Puerto Rico. Though my trip lasted only a few days, I was able to unwind and enjoy the weather I’m accustomed to.

Can’t wait to head back!

I have been to Puerto Rico before. It was one of the stops on a cruise I took. I took a tour of the island and it was very interesting.
